"Came in on opening day, the barbecue was some of the juiciest and most flavorful I’ve ever had. I ordered the Pork ribs, Moist brisket, and the Jalapeño Cheese sausage with Macaroni Salad and Loaded Ranch Potatoes. Really great and clean atmosphere with some of the best barbecue the Lone Star state has to offer."

"I just went in there tonight and they are out of chips.... No biggie, but just the way the manager instructed his staff to tell customers like I couldn't hear him and then to hear his staff member repeat it, in my opinion was just cold; not rude by any means. I get it when you are busy and things are crazy and not going your way at that time; but still take care of your customers; especially ones that are there atleast once if not twice a week. We will still go back but just wanted to let y'all know how I felt I was treated tonight......never had this happen before till tonight, usually amazing staff members I have always encountered there. Tonight was off and not happy and maybe they can learn from this review. Update.....since this post things have been amazing EVERY time we walk in eat here! My kids love seeing the same employees and our whole family agrees compared to other Freebirds in this town....this place has better tasting food and more flavorful! Thank you for always taking good care of our family!"

"I have been taking my students and mentees here for one on one lunches, at least once per week, if not twice, since the start of semester. And I wanted to like it I really did because it 's convenient, fast service and somewhat healthy... but my experience today was awful. So then I thought, why am I doing this??? Today I ordered the lemon grass pork vermicelli bowl, and the chunks of pork ? , we 're ALL FAT! And because last week I ordered the Pad Thai, and it was also less than satisfactory...noodles in ketchup sauce with absolutely no resemblance to the amazing Thai dish but I settled and said nothing , today I decided to complain.Well... they looked at me, when I complained, like... how dare she! And then I had to wait for a manager to acknowledge my complaint and request for something else... and then 20 minutes later, when my student had finished their meal, my replacement meal arrived. It was chicken pho.So tell me... what other pho soup place do you know that serves, sliced chicken luncheon meat as a chicken in pho soup? Enough!I will take my $34 per visit somewhere else! Thanks but no thanks."
