What emma holland doesn't like about Feathers:
I have to say I was disappointed on this occasion. Taking my mum out for a birthday lunch was not as special as I hoped. My issues were- not accepting cash which greatly inconvenienced a customer. Food was over cooked including the 'pink ' steak which was very overcooked. No knives, forks or condiments available, the door back inside locking up leaving customers having to walk to the front of the building, the table... View all feedback.
We visited the feathers after a walk around cliveden national trust. this pub is literally opposite the entrance. it was an icy day so it was nice to be next to the fire and heating. the pub is also very dog friendly, which was wonderful. the lunch menu was very reasonable and tasty. julie, our waitress, was very attentive and welcoming. the only thing that made it easy down was that none of our food was excessively hot, but except that we had an amazing time.
Visited for a birthday dinner and had a super meal. we didn't feel that the hurdy staff were all kind and friendly, and we were served by julie who was brilliant and so helpful. this is such a popular restaurant, I would recommend booking.
We had lunch today and it was a wonderful dining experience made better with our lovely very helpful waitress Charlotte!
What a lovely, welcoming and pub and Team.Popped in for lunch during Half term with the small people, who absolutley loved sitting in the courtyard with all the stunning blossom. Aswell as running around the huge beer Garden Area. Food was Absolutley Goegeous, i had the Seafood Grill, it was exceptional, really fresh and tasty. We will definatley be back.
Visited with my family for a bit lunch. It’s a quaint pub opposite the gates of Cliveden. The food was amazing. My daughter had the chorizo mussels, which looked great. Our server, Jamie, couldn’t have been better. Will definitely be bringing the family back here!
