"Had a great night here. Lovely atmosphere inside, with kind and helpful staff. We had the vegan options, which were tasty. Not really a vegan dessert available, but the staff were kind enough to give us free coffees to make up for it. Note that this place doesn't serve alcohol, but they have some nice mocktails available."

"WOW! Absolutely faultless and couldn't be improved on.... Super, friendly knowledgeable, staff ... and the food was the best I've had in a long while. Portion size perfect on the Short Tasting Menu and so many different flavours to enjoy and the non-alcoholic drinks that accompanied each course were perfect. "My family of four went today for brunch and most of the menu was unavailable which is fine, we chose from the few available options. We then waited for 50minutes for our food. The chef started shouting loudly in front of everyone (including lots of children and babies): “I’ve had enough of this f ing place, it’s the same every f ing week” and so on. Our food turned up eventually and it was all stone cold. The pancakes were actually raw inside and inedible. I now understand why this was the only place for food in Saffron Walden without a queue round the block. We will not return."

"I stayed overnight in the annexe. Spotlessly clean and the most comfortable bed and pillows. Food excellent. Staff so friendly and attentive. Special thank you to Freddie who was our 5 star waiter. Breakfast excellent. Chef checked up that all was OK. I will certainly stay at The Three hills again."

"Excellent experience. Staff were welcoming, polite and attentive. Timing of food was perfect. Everyone said their food was perfectly cooked and extremely tasty, will definitely be back if we are in the area. As a family Indian cuisine is regularly eaten by us and we have rarely tasted better.
