What PerTheCat doesn't like about The White Swan:
Stopped here for lunch and had cheese and pickle baguette with chips. Bread was as near tasteless as it’s possible to get and there was more pickle than cheese. Chips were tasty and hot. You get what you pay for and it was quite cheap. The bar is very old fashioned, small and rather shabby and full of locals, so much so that we felt rather out of place. Had a meal here last night. What a lovely pub. The food was delicious. The landlord was very friendly. Service was good and the atmosphere was welcoming. I recommend a visit.
I stopped by for a drink after visiting Anglesey Abbey. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and they had a nice variety of beers to choose from.
