"Dan greeted our large group with a very welcoming tune. We ordered a hawaiin combo (I forget their unique names) and the cheesy bread. It was all so good, I forgot to take pics! It was a busy and hot Farmers Market day and he graciously let us bring our dog in as long as we kept good manners and kept her close to the front door/window he brought her a water bowl. (This town seems to be very restrictive with dogs due to city codes/regulations) We were checked with regularly our kids got a sweet treat at the end... as well as our dog. Thank you for your hospitality and delicious pizza! Can't wait to come back!"

"I think Coal Chute l provides the best food in the Cle Elum-Roslyn area by a mile. The short rib orecchiette is the kind of meal I’ll dream about until we can be together again. Unfortunately, ordering take-out is brutal. Food in our area is already super expensive and they add a mandatory 20% fee for all to-go orders. As locals it’s the thing that stops us from ordering from here on a regular basis. We just paid $78 for two, to-go pasta dishes and I don’t think I can bring myself to do it anymore This is my plea to drop the fee I’ll gladly eat there in person whenever we can make it in though. It’s the best. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5"

"We really enjoy their homemade dishes and were impressed for a small town their willingness to embrace veg and vegan foods. A bit more unusual than average in the area, but if you made the scratch, fresh and local source ingredients, it is totally worth it. They have recently updated their menu to be very clear on vegan options and what can be done to be vegan what is beautiful. Wish there were more vegan options for breakfast, although we had created a great meal with pages."
