We came here for lunch this week, and my companion had ham, egg and chips with garden peas, which he said were excellent. I had fish and chips and garden peas also excellent, in fact some of the best chips I've ever had, crisp on the outside, fluffy inside and piping hot. Went for lunch today with my mum . Ordered fish and chips , it was and oversized dried up fish finger. Asked for sauce and got given one tiny sachet between 2 of us . No atmosphere and felt completely ripped off and left still hungry . Never again View all feedback.
A group of us all chose from the pensioners menu good portions and good value would definitley come again if we are in Thornbury
This pub was the quieter of the two on this part of the high street. Since the pub across the road was playing 'Build Me Up Buttercup ', I was keen to come here...
