Been coming to Country Maid for years on and off whenever I am working in Ivybridge. They used to supply our work lunches and they were the best. I love the toasted baguettes and panini's, mozzarella pepperoni and devon fire chutney wins usually, but they used to do a beef and stilton as well which was incredible. do NOT miss the iced apple and sultana slice... sometimes I buy two just so I have one for the next day.... read more.

Frequently call in. Lovely sandwiches, bread and selection of local produce. They also do an amazing Full English in a box which is amazing value for money.

There’s ample choice for your freshly made baguette, etc. Includes lots of vegan options, too. Plenty of nearby places to sit and enjoy. Delightful staff.

"So sweet place with a very cozy and earthy atmosphere. coffee cake really came out fast and waitress was very friendly. chai cake was unusual (a lot less sweet than they expect, in any case tasted healthy, but tasty, and my decaf latte was excellent not too hot, so it 't bitter, beautiful and strong, good taste and not too thick/thin texture wise. not too much sitting opportunity, but it would be worth waiting for a table to be free!"

"I visited Just Like Mumma’s stall at the Saltram House Christmas Festival. I opted for the pear and ginger sponge which was honestly the best cake I have had in a very long time and I would recommend anyone to have a slice! The ladies were so kind and have obviously worked very hard on providing fantastic quality cakes and other treats. We actually ended going back to the stall three times! I look forward to visiting the cafe soon."
