"Busters was my favorite place in Plattsburgh. I really like The Mayweather Burger. I noticed a time or two ago, the portions getting smaller, that happens, the economy is tough right now.But this last visit was terrible. We were seated and our drink order was taken. 10 minutes later a water was delivered but no other drinks. Waitress said she would be right back with our drinks. She never returned. We waited another 15 minutes then left. We were there 30 minutes and were seated and gave drink orders, nothing else. Its too bad , they have good food but the service this time was terrible. Maybe they need more staff and can't find them? I would be more understanding if they were real busy but they were not. A few people inside and a few outback. I'm very disappointed, time to find a new favorite restaurant I guess."

"I will say the food here is pretty tasty. My only gripe is they only have a couple dishes if you don 't eat meat, I think only a massaman curry and tofu lemongrass dish. It would be great if they 'd expand their menu to have more veg options. The food is very flavorful though and affordable."

"What a wonderful surprise! I absolutely loved the whole adventure. This is definitely a hidden treasure and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely a place I will be happy to return to."

"Good food, very large portions. I've always been satisfied with the food and service. Good food at moderate prices. French fry servings are almost too large; they're larger than the average person could ever eat at one sitting. I would suggest that Duke should insist on better attire for the chefs and construct a more modern bathroom. Duke, the owner, attended one of New England's best culinery colleges."

"One of the guys at the hotel where I stayed, and another of my doctor's friends recommended Arnie's and I'm so glad I accepted her recommendation. I enjoyed my meals. I ordered the grilled liver and onions and spaghetti with sauce. Omg the grilled liver and onions were all and more. The guy at the bar was very friendly, I also met many nice people there. I recommend this restaurant when you are in Plattsburgh, don't think twice try it out."

"We came for Mothers Day Brunch. I was very excited as I've heard great things about Irises brunch, but the entire experience was so-so. As we walked up, there was a woman sauntering with her kids taking up the entire sidewalk at a snails pace so I walked past her to check us in with the host, which offended her so she was loudly complaining about me to her disorderly children. The host couldn't find our reservation so someone helped her and we were seated, where we sat without any server for 30 minutes. Finally someone noticed us and asked the host within earshot to find us a server, and eventually a server came over very friendly and apologetic. We were starving at this point after driving an hour and a half to get to the restaurant, so we ordered everything at once. Some was delicious, some was so-so. The server took our drinks off the bill, which was nice of him. My mother in law adored the server which was a saving grace. Overall unimpressed but will try again and look forward to a better experience because I hear great things and it was a busy day for their staff."

"We were camping at cbetland Bay state park for 2 weeks. This restaurant is very good. Opted for eating inside. Got the Gyro which was good. Not the best we have ever had but tasty and large. Service was good. Place was clean and decent decor. We will return when in the area again."
