The service was so slow it was unbearable. The coffee was terrible and cold. Just to put our order in took forever. We've now been waiting for 30 minutes for our meal to arrive. We will not come back! Food just arrived. Unimpressed. read more.

"It is with heavy heart that I actually write this report - we holiday @ South West Rocks every year & for the past couple of years we actually make a point of coming out to Gladstone for the day to enjoy the surroundings as well as having lunch/dinner at this beautiful Hotel. The last 2 years we have been deeply disappointed with the service of the restaurant - they always run out of their "specials". This year we asked what time does the restaurant/bistro close - 2.00pm - so us ladies went out for some boutique shopping - returned just after 12.00 but the CLOSED sign was put up for food orders @ 1.15pm! However after some persuasion we were able to order a couple of "dips" which were overpriced - it was inconvenient time as it was pouring rain & we were unable to go another establishment to order some lunch. Very disappointed we will not be making the trip out next year."
