What Ray Chapman likes about Gilpin Lake House:
First time experience so I have nothing to compare it to. I wasn 't impressed. Tried the taster menu and there was only 2 courses that I enjoyed, same with my husband. Unfortunately not quite the exceptional experience we were anticipating. The staff were fabulous. They really new their stuff and were very good at their jobs. The choice on the menu was lacking. Two members of our party are not fish fans and this was made aware prior to arrival. They were not given alternatives so their “choice” was made for them.
