For the main course, all of our party chose lamb henry and the other three halibut. All were very good and the portions very generous. The restaurant and bar areas were very busy, luckily we had booked in advance. View all feedback.

"Absolutely delightful place! The food was delicious, we had nachos (huge portion), meat skewers, gambas, calamari, quesadillas and lamb burgers. All of it was amazing, each dish as good as the next, excellent portion sizes and very reasonably priced. We had a lovely waiter, a...young lad, who was very attentive and friendly. "Called in to browse and bought some pastries and a bowl of mixed salads to take away for a picnic lunch. The brie and onion quiche was yummy. The salad box was huge! The salads were each so different but so fresh and flavourful with enough leftover for tea. Will call in again when next in Ambleside."

"Live in Windermere would say over the years I have been to most places for afternoon tea . Cedar manor however was quite possibly THE best . Little soup to start , then mini quiche with salad , chilled beautiful sandwiches , warm scones delicious cakes . It was absolutely perfect . Even the cup of tea was sensational . It’s 5 stars from me . Would definitely recommend will definitely be returning . Loved it ."

"We stopped by for a quick ice cream during a bike ride and were so pleased we made it part of our route! They have a great selection of flavours and we thoroughly enjoyed our ice creams they’re also very generous with their scoops!"
