Can't fault this place at all. Booked a table earlier in the day, turned up on time, food came out quickly and was good. Steak and ale pie had decent pieces of steak in it and Emma thought the sausage was really good. we have booked with the very plough dalesman gastronomics, which has fine eating and excellent beer and environment. but they don't fool them, we were in the nearby off-site pub, the red lion, which is nothing like the dalesman. no suite, just a room next door, with a nice shower, but the room was pretty grubby. we were on the same stage as the cook, although we did not see him. the entrance to the rooms is at the ba...
