Use this local Localshop not just for books but for cards, wrapping paper, interesting gifts, occasionally artists paint. Never visited the café…so can’t comment. Shop staff always helpful and polite, jovial between themselves ! , but that hopefully means they’re happy where they work. That says much for this moment in time. Decided to try this pop up cafe, like to support local businesses. £3.50 for a cup of tea (rather small cup and saucer) and a biscuit. Waited a while then asked for the biscuit as I never got it. Then noticed other tables being served teas also without biscuits..... Do you only actually get it if you ask, despite paying for it?
