There are three seating areas at this restaurant, located near the counter, down the corridor towards the restrooms, and upstairs, making it accessible for those with wheelchairs or pushchairs. Although it is just a Costa, the restaurant has two very friendly and welcoming staff members. View all feedback.
What Paul W doesn't like about Costa Coffee:
I had nearly given up on this particular branch of the restaurant, as it was dirty, unwelcoming, and the staff appeared to lack motivation. Since Costa opened a new branch at the top of town, this location has seemed to intentionally decline in quality. However, my experience today was different. Today, our second visit was to say that it is one when the most beautiful costa coffee I have been, a little quirky the layout was, but many sitting areas. the most important observation today was the young man henry and female colleagues whose name I forgot (passive) they were both brilliant in their customer service, fast and efficient working through the long waiting queue of the customers and they seemed to work together in perfect connection, communication and multi-tasking. it must be recognized when we are recognized on good courteous efficient customer service staff and their efforts, there are too many bad service staff outside so well done henry, the young ladies also the other Asian girls in the background clearing tables and cleaning, large team
I have been regularly at the costa for several years and always have a great service. I have recently noticed that there are fewer employees, but amy the manager and her smaller team really make a super job. they work hard, always have a smile and cordial reception for customers. I have in long waiting times, but the staff is always polite, friendly and are a credit to costa. the coffee and eating are great and it is always worth visiting.
Beautiful staff, large coffee, tasty salted caramel brownie among other joys!
Friendly helpful staff. beautiful comfortable seating inside and outside seating in beautiful surroundings.

Since Costa opened a new branch at the top of town, this location has seemed to intentionally decline in quality. However, my experience today was different. I entered at 3:20 pm and was informed by a sullen staff member that they were only serving takeaway orders. When I inquired why, he stated that they were closing in 20 minutes. The sign on the door indicated a closing time of 4pm, which is unusually early for a town center location. Disappointed, I decided to leave and visit the warm and friendly coffee and cake shop across the street.
