What Notjustchips doesn't like about The Marks And Spencer:
We queued for 10 minutes to get to the service till and order coffee. The assistants were really slow and obviously need extra training. One kept taking an order then losing it when it came to payment. The chap making coffee didn’t look at all interested and was quite at home slowly and methodically making the coffees while we all waited. Very helpful worker from the laundry department today. very good, responsive. would definitely recommend to be suitable from here.
Had a fantastic lunch.... Shared a nice sandwich with my Mum and then we had a cream tea each. Didn't have to queue, excellent service, not cheap but my word it was worth every penny!
My favourite place for food and clothes shopping. Very friendly service and nice environment.
The restaurant was in a terrible state, although there were plenty of empty tables they were all covered in dirty dishes and there wasn't enough staff on duty to clear up the tables, this is not the first time i have noticed this in this restaurant, it seems to a regular occurrence, it never used to be like this, something has gone wrong M&S time to sort it out, you pay a premium price in your restaurants and Cafe and customers are not receiving a premium service.
