"The best kebab I've had in wales. The food is high quality and not greasy. The staff are all incredibly friendly especially ‘’İsmail’’and you can tell they take pride in the food they make. I would recommend to anyone!!! (they also cook certain foods on a charcoal grill which really adds to the flavour) Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch"

"What an amazing pub this is, it’s a must visit if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Chepstow or just a delicious meal served by lovely staff who go out of their way to make you feel more than welcome. "We had Sunday lunch at The New Court. It was 1st class. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The Beef was unbelievabley tender and the portions were so generous. The children had chicken and that was really tender and tasty. All served with Yorkshire puddings and cauliflower cheese.The service was really good with everyone being friendly and welcoming. Definitely reccomend this place ."

"We live only 20 miles away, but I booked a room so we could have a nice relaxed time with some aperitifs, good wine with the meal, and a digestif. We chose the Hardwick as we've been there before and enjoyed it, good honest food, no unnecessary bits, well cooked. I read in the local paper that they had a large sum of money stolen by their accountant, and nearly folded, so we chose to go to the Hardwick. I am a wheelchair user, and was helped by the staff, they were all delightful, and the food was outstanding, I can't eat much meat, especially red meat, so I had a fish starter and vegetarian main, delicious and lots of it. I am really impressed with the resilience of the owners and staff, having been through a terrible time, due to a dishonest accountant. Goodluck to all of them."

"Hair in food. They did not take responsibility and said they don’t know how it got there. Hair was black. We have blond hair. The lunch was ruined for all. Then we were insulted by a £4.50 cash refund when this said meal was £11. The whole experience was great disappointment. Never again!"

"What a sound! derek found this place on the phone and I'm so glad he did. I had one of the best lasagnes I've ever had, from the nicest, friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. derek had fish and chips, the fish was huge, with REAL chips! he couldn't finish it and that says something. we sat in their beautiful conned beer garden, surrounded by flowers, under a sunshade that was welcome today. I really recommend this place!"

"It was our first visit and the staff were very patient and accommodating in helping my elderly mother-in-law. The toasted sandwich, cake and coffee were absolutely divine! Would definitely recommend Coffee#1 and will definitely go back"
