The Jerwood Space is now somewhat of the poor relation of the Jerwood Gallery in Hastings, showing only occasional exhibitions in a couple of rooms, although it does provide meeting and rehearsal rooms. Perhaps the best aspect of this place is the cafe with some pleasant outdoor seating offering healthy salads and sandwiches for lunch. View all feedback.

I hadn't been to Cafe 171 for some time, so when I popped in for coffee with a friend on a recent Saturday lunch time I was surprised to find it an entirely dreary experience. The coffee was just so-so, the service average and the food selection poor. View all feedback.
