"We stopped here on the way to our hotel. I'd never heard of Dickey's, but my friends said that they used to go a location down south. I had a 2 meat platter, brisket and pulled pork, with waffle fries and fried pickle chips for my sides. It was all delicious, and every sauce I tried was great. I was full, but I managed to squeeze in some ice cream. Note: you order from the left side of the counter, not the right where you walk in the door there's even a sign but I missed it. The kid behind the counter had a good sense of humor about it. Now I wish we had one Up North in Gaylord or Petoskey."

"So much disappointment when I was told such a great place. Made a reservation a week prior, it was not in the books. 15 minutes for a server.Bread basket..no rolls, had to flag down a bus person.Salad bar out of 5 items.Asked waitress to please wait till we were done with salad to put our order in.However the salad bar was out of 5 items. So I had to go back/forth 3x.Friend got prime rib. He ordered MW it was MR. Sent back. Came back same way not to mention once he trimmed the fat he had about 6 bites of meat that he took home.The best thing was the baked potato and the blue cheese dressing.Just to show I'm a great customer and former server of 30 yrs, I snuck over to our server at the VERY (before even the breadbasketbeginning and put $5 in her apron hoping it would encourage her for good service AND left her another $5 upon leaving.I now see why there are negative reviews.I really should have asked for a gift certificate or discount but I didn't want to embarrass my guest. And they were swamped.I want to give them a 2nd chance, however I'm hoping if I explain what happened to Charlie he will comp my meal?"

"We stopped here for a burger. I ended up having Slamin' Salmon which was excellent. Kev had a burger and fries that he loved. Stacy, our server/bartender was fabulous. Delightful beyond belief. Too bad no one goes here. They are planning to double the cabana bar for the warm weather. AND open up the deck for dining. Hooray! Stop by and see Stacy in the meantime."

"The best Greek tony is there. much better than sherman. the food was fast, fresh and tasty. my only complaining is that it could be cleaner than it is currently. the floors in the dining room were sticky and at the same time fat. it is annoying enough that their feet stick to the floor, but in the slimy add from the fat on the floor and they have themselves quite the rob. total good eating"
