"Great local cafe. All the usual dinner breakfast options all available to order. Partner loves the hash brown casserole! Atmosphere was great, friendly busy dinner setting. People were coming in the entire time we were there. Some regulars, some not. Check them out! "I don't have pictures, but WOW! Saturday morning Mariah's catered a breakfast buffet for our annual Illinois Hereford Association meeting at the Illinois State Fairgrounds! Staff was very professional and we fed over 100 farmers, and farmers know breakfast! The number of compliments on the breakfast was amazing! And as always Sam stopped in to make sure everything was PERFECT! Don't forget Mariah's for events not only at their amazing restaurant, but also for outside events....the quality is beyond delicious! Thanks to Sam and his entire staff!!"

"We were passing through town and looking for a special occasion spot. This was perfect. Quiet, date night vibes. The food was delicious. I recommend the meatloaf cupcake trio. As odd as it sounds, it was fantastic. The key lime pie was creamy and light, and the server gave a spot-on recommendation for a mocktail so good I had two. We had a lovely view of the Governor's Mansion from our table. "We received are drink order and placed appetizers and dinner order. Got appetizers and salads within 10 mins. Waited another hour or more for steaks. Not once in our wait did anyone come to our table to refill our drinks or say why the wait. Finally when our food arrived we were all tired and just asked for to go boxes for 4. They brought us 1 box. Asked again got 3 more. Paid $100. To eat salad and half of a appetizer a piece. Cause once we arrived home we found our potatoes not done, broccoli still hard,all 4 steaks were rubber. Like warmed in a microwave Waited over an hour for food that was either under cooked or over cooked. Totally bad visit."
