What a little gem in a quaint village setting near the beach. We received a lovely warm welcome from the owner and we're well looked after. Not a vast menu choi...

Really enjoyed our visit here Had the banana pancakes which where superb,all served by pleasant staff..superb.

What a lovely find. Friendly staff and lovely food. Perfect mocha. Open before 1000 too which made it a real winner for us. Definitely will go back.

"Amazing Sunday lunch. The lamb was perfect as was the spinach wellington. Eat in the garden on a mild October day. Survive was friendly and make a great meal all the better for it. Price per person: £20–30 Recommended dishes: Sunday Roast"

"An Early morning start having decided to take the pooches for a well deserved walk. I never start the walk without stopping here first. The location is lovely, the people are lovely and the food is excellent including a decent flatwhite. You need to visit if you are in the area."

"It was nice to find this South African restaurant in the middle of Cornwall. Because we are South African ex-pats, we found wors a bit too skinny and dry. "The stars I've left are based on how I imagine it would have been based on the other reviews! Just leaving this review to say to others to PRE ORDER TAKEAWAYS IF YOU WANT ONE! If we'd been eating in we'd have booked but didn't book anything as didn't realise we'd need to for a takeaway. But we should have as when calling late afternoon/early evening for a takeaway roast we'd missed out. Gutted, but will know for next time. Don't make the same mistake..."

"Had THE best time at the Wheelhouse in September. We were delighted to get in at all as it can be fully booked six months in advance. It absolutely did not disappoint, and even exceeded our expectations. Was wonderfully quirky, staff very attentive, and most...importantly the food was sublime. Freshly caught local shellfish cooked to perfection, with local homemade bread and crispy fries. The welcome and ambience felt like we were at a good friend's house for dinner (a Michelin starred chef friend), in their front room overlooking the harbour. Wonderful wonderful wonderful.. If you can go, please do so.. You will not be disappointed. Simply THE best restaurant in the whole of Cornwall, never mind Falmouth. recommend"
