I went to this restaurant for a Christmas dinner with my coworkers. They offered a festive menu with two courses: curried vegetable wellington (perfectly seasoned parsnip and butternut squash wrapped in puff pastry served with crispy broccoli and Parmesan potatoes) and apple cake with custard. Lovely father's day meal with family. Nice food, good choices, warm atmosphere and very helpful staff, Adam our waiter was very attentive and friendly.
We came for a Father’s Day meal today, it was fantastic, beautiful food, friendly staff, our server Ellie really went above and beyond and never stopped smiling. We will definitely be back

Never go to this pub. The service was incredibly slow, the food very average and then to finish off 2 out of 3 of us got a parking fine £60/£100. The pub will refuse to help with the parking company. At no time did any member of staff inform us of the parking requirements. The pub was empty and so was the car park. Will never return to this pub. Appalling service.
