What Nicholasvancouver likes about Elephant Castle:
Sunday lunch, a bit busy. We were limited to six and had a table by the door opening onto the wigwam. Unfortunately the servers and customers made frequent use of the door letting cold and bumping against our char backs.. it ideal. I had the lentil Wellington which was adventurous and tasty. We did not start for dessert. A mixed bit and a mixed review. The parking area could use some serious TLC. View all feedback. What LondonFriday doesn't like about Elephant Castle:
It’s now being operated by Farr Brew, so the beer is great.The service and lunch food though is sub standard.We ordered two fish and chips and one sausage and mash. The fish was awful totally overdone and dry and took an age to arrive. We complained and they did fresh ones which were miles better, and to be fair they didn’t charge.
