What User likes about Simmons Bakers:
Always lovely and friendly staff willing to go the extra mile (even running to the store if out of marmite The shop layout looks lovely with so much to choose from. I’ve tried many different things and loved everything! Would like to see some of...the old sweet bakes back soon! And many some more veggie sandwich options. I feel the safety measures put in place are good. Highly recommend! View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Simmons Bakers:
Called in for breakfast but was forced to leave as there was no organised customer service. Despite waiting more than mins, customers at the bread counter were served long before those waiting for coffee and breakfast. Some order needs to be put in place...to provide timely and fair service. It was also very disappointing to see dirty floors and tables. This is inexcusable. View all feedback.

I often pop in to Simmons in Southdown for their bacon and egg baps, and usually come out with cakes and pastries too! Lovely friendly staff very efficient too.

Always a stop on visiting the High Street. Fantastic food and staff. Shame some customers cannot read the at one time' notice !

"Second visit to Little Maracech and didn't disappoint. Fantastic atmosphere, service and food. I had Trio Grill Mezze an absolute meat feast. My partner had Sultan Kadra a lamb dish where the meat literally fell off the bone. If you're not a meat eater then there are plenty of vegetarian meals. If you haven't been yet you need to go!"

"We had a well-deserved coffee and cake at Willow Trees Café after a lovely cross county walk. Refreshments were excellent and it was nice sitting outside by the river Lea (there was even a swan on the river with several young cygnets). There is not much parking at (or near) the Café so most people walk from Wheathampstead (along the Lea Valley Walk) or walk cycle from Harpenden along the old railway line (which is also part of the Lea Valley Walk). The café does have a set of cycle racks. It should be noted that the café is only at weekends and bank holiday Monday’s between May Bank Holiday weekend and August Bank Holiday Monday. Contactless payment is now accepted and additional outside seating has recently been added."
