this place is brilliant in any look, beautiful rooms, excellent eating and friendly staff. we would highly recommend this place and we will definitely come back...

yesterday here for a 16th birthday meal the personal we very kind and could not do enough to help and eating was amazingly very good portion sizes xxx

the best place to eat this opposite quality and beautiful environment, only from the bypass so easy access. friendly staff too.

spotless clean and comfortable room, nice eating, friendly staff and great service. really good value for money. highly recommended

Visited for the first time for lunch with friends and found very friendly staff and very nice surroundings ..it was nice to see a variation on the menu for exam...

"Visiting my home town after 40 years away and a nice surprise to see things I still recognised as well as things new. Thaidee was one of the new things and what a nice surprise. The food was excellent, with wonderful flavours and fresh ingredients. I settled for a change cken and coconut flavoured soup for a starter followed by a green curry. Both perfectly cooked and very tasty. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and great company answering questions about the food and listening to my reminiscing about the town I left in the 1980s. The restaurant also serves take away food, but I will be returning to eat at their tables. "Due to covid restrictions the restaurant is only supplying pre prepared takeaway meals, but what a treat. Simple re heat instructions left us with a superb meal for two, of five star quality, for less than thirty pounds. I have no idea how they do it.If you're considering a takeaway, give it a try, you're in for a real treat. Many thanks to staff at On the Hill."

"A cafe set close to the sea front with seating indoors and outside. Limited parking spaces outside but more around the corner by ghe sea front. Some paid and some free. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good choices if snacks and main courses dishes at average prices. Even vanilla milkshake served here. Hunters paying tasty and cooked properly and presented nicely on the plate. Busy cafe so good to book but worth a visit"

"We visited for the first time for a takeaway in Dec 2023. The owner was very friendly and the service was good but unfortunately, the food wasn't. We ordered butter chicken and chicken madras. The chicken was tough and tasteless. The butter chicken tasted nothing like butter chicken. The madras was bland and tasteless. The naan breads were all rubbery and tasteless too. The only plus was the pilau rice, it was cooked nicely and very colourful. Sorry but nobody enjoyed it and i can actually cook both of these dishes way better myself. First and last time for us. Really disappointing."
