"My husband and I made an online reservation asking for a nice quiet table so that we could celebrate our wedding anniversary. When we arrived, we were seated in a corner in the room to the left which was nice and cozy. Our server was an older woman with short blonde hair, (she did not introduce herself). She blurted out the house specials in a manner that was half forgetful while winging the rest. She seemed rushed (a large table of 12 was being seated in the corner in her dining area). We were not impressed with her service which was not rude but not friendly. Anyway, the food was very good. The restaurant itself is not huge and it did get quite loud in there by the end of our meal. We would return with friends but not for an intimate dinner. It was a bit disappointing that we had mentioned that it was our anniversary in the comments and it was not acknowledged. We made a nice evening of it however and left satisfied with the food decisions we made. I should mention also that the antique furniture is lovely but the chairs are not very comfortable."

"Without a doubt one of the best meals you have. Every time a dish came out I thought “this is the best dish”. Not a single disappointment. My personal favorites were the geoduck with wild rice crisp, the celery root and the quince tart. But choosing favorites was next to impossible. The meal was constructed perfectly from start to finish. The whole experience from the land/property to the staff and restaurant itself. With all the high class “top 100” and/or Michelin restaurants I’ve been to its easy to blend in sometimes. Not Pearl Morissette. They stood out amongst the best of the best. I will be back."

"No visit to Niagara on the Lake is complete without visiting The Budapest Bakeshop for a delicious chimney cake! My favorite is the plain sugared cake. So fresh, sweet, and delicious! The savory ones are wonderful too. Friendliest staff and beautifullocation. You simply must go!"

"Thank you Masaki Sushi for another wonderful meal! Absolutely fantastic! The team at Masaki Sushi sure knows how to deliver a great dining experience. I have visited the restaurant twice now, once for dinner with a group and once with my wife for lunch. On both occasions the food, the cocktails, the service and the ambiance were excellent. Front of house is friendly, attentive and helpful with describing the menu and the lovely selection of sake. The food is beautifully presented and tastes amazing. Masaki Sushi is well worth the visit, I know I'll be going back soon!"

"Beautiful winery, though can be busy if you don’t reserve ahead as it’s a popular tour destination. I took the Trius tour and our guide was awesome, taking us to various scenic spots in premises and we got to sample some of their signature wines. We even got to witness a champagne style wine get owned with a sword. If you are in the area, do visit, as it’s one of the areas establishing wineries and well worth a try."

"Gelato is delicious but even more, the employees were extremely knowledgeable about various allergens (nuts, gluten, eggs) in the gelato, which was reassuring! They were also super kind and patient. We enjoyed a tasty cone of gelato and a gelato milkshake. Based on the pistachio (which was a real color, not bright green), we felt that they were using real ingredients — really impressed! It was the best milkshake I've had."
