I've been visiting a few wetherspoon pubs for years, some better than others. The Corn Exchange was only that, in 1862 built on the grounds of an old market and rebuilt about 10 years ago by wetherspoon. beer and eat are on the usual wetherspoon standard, but the building....WOW huge and incredibly ornately. it is worth visiting just to see you. What a beautiful building!!! Such a shame it is unloved. Dirty tables, dirty floors and toilet cubicles broken. We had a drink here and moved on as we didn’t feel it was clean enough to eat here. View all feedback.
