Nice restaurant in a local pub environment. Good selection of choice. Thought the starters were slightly overpriced and quantity was disappointing. What Anon doesn't like about The Lion:
The food was nice and the staff were friendly. I think our expectations were quite high because of reviews and that they had to take card details on booking but we had to wait over a hour between courses and it wasn't very busy. The waitress did apologise but only once they brought mains out and just avoided eye contact in between. We still had a nice time and would return. View all feedback.
