What Anon doesn't like about The Lion:
The food was nice and the staff were friendly. I think our expectations were quite high because of reviews and that they had to take card details on booking but we had to wait over a hour between courses and it wasn't very busy. The waitress did apologise but only once they brought mains out and just avoided eye contact in between. We still had a nice time and would return. View all feedback. What Rach likes about The Lion:
Professional friendly customer service from the staff. Very nice relaxing atmosphere in the restaurant which was perfect for our occasion. Food was good quality for the price overall but the mixed grill could have been better cuts of meat and bigger portions for the cost. Overall, a lovely pub with a room for everyone and would definitely recommend to family and friends. View all feedback.
