"Today we visited Cafe Rose for breakfast/brunch. We had a full breakfast and an eggs florentine. Both were outstanding! Freshly cooked and excellent quality. Mushrooms not greasy with great little touches of herbs! A pleasure to eat. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be...visiting again soon. Thanks"

"Let me just say that out of all the many establishments I have eaten in around Kent, this is (by a country mile) my favorite. Warmly welcomed by the staff and owner (Fran) to an idilic country pub with amazing views and incredible decor. Locally sourced foods are cooked to quite breath taking perfection. I couldn't fault any dish or side, I even heard the table next to us ask for different vegetables which was, to my astonishment, catered for. By far one of the best roasts I've had the pleasure of eating and will definitely be back. Thank you so much. Danny."

"We’ve been there before but it’s been refurbished beautifully and at first we thought it was closed from the outside. As it happens it was open, lovely bright, airy dining room. We went there cause one of our party is gluten intolerant and they had similar menu to the main one, excellent. The food was amazing, the presentation was stunning, even down to the crockery, some unusual pieces. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and the staff were so lovely and friendly. I must add that the place was spotless and it’s one of the cleanest toilets I’ve ever used, top marks for that, will recommend this little gem and we will be back, amazing"

"Lovely little cafe in the post office, what a great idea! Staff were really helpful, the full English consisted of 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 3 bacon, black pudding, mushrooms, beans, tomato, toast and some rocket. Top notch. Made even better with the government's 50% for Eat out to help out."
