We did the drive up and walked the last bit. Driving cost us (a family of three) €19 and this got us to a few hundred meters below the top. The final walk was good with some fun 'climbing ' experiences on the way. At the top the views are fabulous, take the time to go right up passed Gipfelhaus to the transmitter. The views are worth it.
