"We had a very long wait for our dinner which was a simple salad and spaghetti with meat balls. The chef was cooking one meal at a time and even for a small place it took a while. The spaghetti was good, didn't care for the balls. Our server was great and the atmosphere fine. I would go back to try the espresso side of things."

"Easily the worst tacos I've ever had, I'm almost certain their tex mex ground beef is mixed with beans or something to save costs, the lady who made my tacos was very nice but made my tacos terribly, she only put the ingredients in the very middle of the shell so most my tacos were just ground beef and one or two good bites in the middle with cheese covering 20% of the taco.I definitely won't be back."

"St. John's has never had a great selection of good Chinese restaurants, adequate Chinese/Canadian food at best. But the Peaceful Loft has changed that. Flavourful, fresh food, made to order. They will adjust to your taste. While it is vegan, meat-eaters really won't notice much; the fake chicken has a different texture than real chicken and is moister than most restaurant chicken, the fake pork is indistinguishable from most pork you get in Chinese restaurants except that it is moister. The food is spiced enough that the flavour of the meatless-meat is beside the point.Well worth a visit unless you expect fast-food (in both senses of the term)."

"Loved the #Shamoose promo they did with the St. John's Summer football match events. Always a great atmosphere and good kiss. Heared two live performers who engaged the crooks and played with a chatty band. The Shamrock Koolaid and the P*rnStar cocktails enjoyed very well. Had her Blue Cheese Burger, the mouthwater was!"
