We had a great lunch at Pontoon on Sunday. Good food choices, great wine list and the service was excellent. This is currently my favourite lunchtime eating house in Melbourne. After hearing so much about the revamp of this Melbourne institution were looking forward to seeing if it delivered.Sadly we left disappointed the menu and the space downstairs has lost it identity.Trying to have a conversation over the table at 7 pm was of impossible is this place a housey bar club or a restaurant.Menu lacked any real highlights.Sadly won't be rushing back anytime soon read more.
