What Deana29 doesn't like about Farmers Arms:
Veg on the Sunday dinner was a very small portion not good for the price paid , I agree with previous review about penny pinching Also there is a horrendous smell coming from the downstairs toilet it is disgusting and very off putting View all feedback. What Bethany eklic likes about Farmers Arms:
Exceptional service! I came to enjoy a delightful Sunday Roast and I got just that! Minus the over cooked roast potatoes that were completely overruled by the mouth watering beef! I had a sticky toffee pudding as a dessert which was prevented beautifully and did not disappoint. I will be back again that’s for sure! View all feedback.

Ate here twice over my short stay in Ulverston and both meals were very good along with pleasant and courteous staff.
Didn't accept walk in for rooms, has to be done on line.
Had to wait a while for a hot beef sandwich, but when it came it was spot on, came with salad and slaw but the so called hand cut chips tasted more like frozen?
Here for a Sunday lunch friendly staff, great location in town with parking nearby, clean airy restaurant area and big portions! All the extra gravy you want ;
Got lucky with a walk-in booking and both ordered the Fisherman's Salad; fresh, tasty, full of salmon and prawns at a very competitive price

The Farmer's has many facets to itIt is a great place for Sunday Lunch, or to go for Diner, but booking is essential.
