This place has so much character. We stopped in after dinner for a glass of great red wine and some cheese. Love the cozy atmosphere.

Great wine selection, great food and even accommodated with gluten free pasta! A colorful and loving owner that takes care of everyone in the restaurant!

This is a fun lively spot with a great atmosphere. The wine selection was great and the staff was helpful. I only had drinks but the food options looked great.

"When we came to the restaurant, the waiters were quite rude. we have asked for some water, and they have brought us a bottle of water, so they can live naturally, but what happened next was a big no no no no. we ordered chateaubriand (it should be a big soft steak from bark meat) the steak was definitiw not from bark meat, because it was a bright color and not like bark meats anymore, it was no file chateau. a lockbriand weighs in the rule from somewhere so that this steak was max, which is the size of a datei mignon. Moreover, we had to pay for a tiny, not beautiful steak over franken (for two people). absolutely unhappy! would not recommend!"

"We are just finished with our delicious lunch here.. they served us even though we went just past their closing time. And we are so thankful for that! The staff is very friendly. We had burgers and fries which were crispy and yummy.. my pasta...was menu of the day.. so fresh and came with salad! The swiss chocolate mousse was great too! I would definitely recommend this place!"

"Returned to the Berghaus for lunch this past May during an almost month long holiday- and it was just as spectacular as the first time. Was very surprised at the amount of snow and much more wintery conditions- we were there at almost the same day- to the date as the previous time- and the first time it was warm, sunny and much less snow. No bother- we loved every minute of it. Food was excellent. My better 1/2 had the vegetarian lasagne which was unique- I had the large mixed salad with the freshest produce!! Had planned on dessert but our waiter was just too busy to get back to us. So we just sat and enjoyed the view! Hope we get to return again in this life!"
