"Discovered this place on a trip to the coastal Georgia. The best salad I've ever had! Large vegetarian options and they will sub tofu for the meat in the dish in many of the entrees. Our server was fantastic. It was just a wonderful experience. We'll be back when we get back!"

"I have been at two Jay's locations. The chicken and fish are cooked to perfection. There are no sandwiches, filets, or whole cooked fish. The staff at both places are friendly and professional. I have always had a positive experience whether eating in or taking out. The baked beans are the best. Fries are made fresh. Greens are very tasty."

"I saw lots of reviews about this place, positive and negative, but I wanted to give it a try. I ordered the crab cake benedict with home fries. Delicious! I kind of wish I would’ve ordered 2 as the benedict is all that you get. Sides are extra. Luckily, I ordered the home fries which were good too. I really don’t have complaints about the food. My con is the service for take out orders. When I called in my order the cashier was very friendly. However, picking up my food was the issue. The person who took my order couldn’t remember my call in order. I give him grace as I think he was new and was overwhelmed trying to do everything by himself. He then realized the order was behind him and apologized for the confusion. I would go to this restaurant again; but next time, I’ll dine in."

"We are here for our 14th year. they are holding up. we went early and had a very wonderful waitress that goes to uga and the mother also works there. they were both very good and very friendly. that was great. I had the shrimp po boy and my wife laughed. they allow pets on the outside deck so that we took our dog, the one who had a chicken in their bowl we had for them. it is a very well maintained facility and very clean. directly at the jekyll river. we saw an alligator who swung in the river when we were gone. delphin excursions can be purchased on a stand on the outside deck. everything was excellent here! I would suggest this place urgently, but do not forget to call first for reservations."

"Wow. The Grand Ballroom at the Jekyll Club is totally new! Decor is only a month plus old and it's so aesthetically pleasing (photos on trip advisor are old and I wished I'd taken pics to post...cause the carpet is amazing, as are the dining chairs). We ate breakfast in the ballroom there every day with our favorite server, Ashley B. (who is a local and has been working there for 16 years)! Excellent service! Food was delicious and the whole vibe is beach relaxing from start to finish. The new feed and beverage manager is Michelle Cottengain, who couldn't be more polished and professional. Great hire there! Can't wait for a repeat visit soon!"
