"I don't understand how this place can be rated 4.5 stars based on food. Our bartender was great, the guacamole really good, but the tacos are truly sub par. I mean WAY sub par. Pastor dry. Short ribs flavorless. Ground beef bland. And they are pricey $5 $6 each and stingy portions for the price. My companion had chicken fajitas it was OK, nothing special, but again, pricey. There are 5 other Mexican places on St. Simons. Only Bubba Garcia's is worse."

"I took my wife there for our 20th anniversary and had a delicious meal with drinks. My wife was the driver so I was able to drink and I had the best Old Fashion I have ever had. Our meal was great my wife had the fried chicken and I had a steak. Both meals were great. Lastly, we can a delicious creme brulee that was one of the best I have ever had. A wonderful place to go."

"Pantry is a sweet little restaurant shop at Jekyll Island Club Resort. They have breakfast and lunch, desserts and coffee for there or to go there as well as bottles of alcohol, soda, water. You also sell some sweet things for the house, syrup, bacon jam, s'more kits, and you can buy picnic baskets out for one day."

"We opted for takeout. Hostess was great when she realized we were vegetarian. Almost everything on the menu had shrimp paste/fish oil, but she guided us to the 3 dishes that had none fried rice/volcano/amazing. We ordered all 3. The volcano came, covered in fried shrimp! The other two tasted like a few vegetables and rice (they forgot rice with one dish) covered in packet sauces. Really not quality and the shrimp wrecked everything."
