A beautiful venue with good service, but I was a bit underwhelmed by the food. The plating of the wedge salad was untraditional with the half-head of lettuce being used as a vat for blue cheese. It was good though! I chose the bone-in ribeye over the filet but wish I hadn't. It was thinner than I expected for the price and a tad overcooked. Not the Colt and Alison of years past. Service was slow and inattentive. The quality and preparation of my steak was not that of a high end steak house and the tables did not have tablecloths. I hope our visit was simply on an off night when the Chef was on vacation, and the dry cleaner forgot to deliver the linens. Definitely not indicative of the Sea Island experience. View all feedback.
We thoroughly enjoyed dinner at this restaurant. It was a beautiful room with wonderful service and great food.
The redesign gives the place a much more intimate feel. The food was sublime and the team helpful and always ready to serve.
