Very delicious carving with roast potatoes, the sauce is excellent and sufficient. Beer and who is not fed should remember to put a balloon in the stomach. The service was always very friendly. The environment is very beautiful, especially in summer when you can sit outside. Then it can take a little longer, because so much goes on. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Stader Ratskeller:
You sit down by a table in a rather dark room some hundred years old. Why they don't lit the candles placed on the tables is difficult to understand. This would have given this old room a far better atmosphere. They also have a micro brewery and you can choose from a beer menu what to drink. We ordered Schweinebraten (euro 10,90) and a Putensteak Napoli (euro 12,90).Both dishes were quite good. And the beer excellent. View all feedback.
We're looking for an outskirts. Our choice was a great one. Three different house made type of beer. The Steak Week offers a good Rumpsteak. Service was friendly. Summary: Value for money.
When you visit Stade for pleasure or business, remember to go to this place. You will find real German food and local beer brewed by them. Place is really big, so no need to book a table in advance. Prices are moderate and well located in the city centre, just a few minutes walk from the crane. Repeat if I ever visit Stade again.
The Stader Ratskeller is a typical brewery. You can have a few Beers and grab some food. A solid choice all year long.
I have been to the Ratskeller a few times when I have visited Stade. It is very centrally located but slightly off putting as the entrance and first appearance isn't the best. However, it is well worth a visit. The homemade beer is exceptionally good. The food is plentiful and extremely tasty and it represents good value for money. If you don't have fluent German then the menu can be challenging but for the savvy then google translate will give you a wonderful translation for rump steak!!
