"Ate lunch twice here for the convenient location to work. Service was a bit slow for a bar restaurant, but adequate. Pizzas were nice. Pasta dish my coworker had was also done well."

"Went through Stade, a small beautiful German hanseatic city, an early night to find a place to eat. Everything was closed, but in a narrow alley we found Fischhus Stortebeker. The host was so friendly and invited us in. We could choose from a showcase with fresh fish. We eat a homemade fish soup and various fried fish fillets. We have the best roasted apples I've ever eaten in Germany as ancillary dishes. It was wonderful, and the host proudly showed us his newly renovated banquet facilities, in the 250 year old house. It would be a dream for me to celebrate my 70th birthday in this wonderful environment. We can only recommend this cozy place to others. When you visit Stade, you have to eat fish in this restaurant. There is also a guest house with rooms to rent, but we did not see these facilities."
