great culinary experience! our waitress was attentive and helpful. the food option worked well for the even healthier food, i.e. a request was made to put the garlic butter sauce on the side and eating came out on request. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Olive Garden:
We put our name on the waitlist and were told a 20 minute wait. After 45 mins and multiple parties of equal or more people being sat before us even though they came in after us, we talked to the host and they sat us right away. We waited at our table for nearly ten minutes to be greeted by our server. Our serve then got our order wrong and we had to send the food back. Server didn't bring refills for drinks after mul... The best SALAD EVER!! I LOVE this place and no matter where you travel, Olive Garden is ALWAYS in line with the latest ingredients in any meal. The staff is always friendly and they go beyond and beyond to give the best service!
Finally me and my friend decided to check out the Olive Garden for dinner that is located at State College. It would have been easier to book through their App and then come by to avoid the wait time. But we didn’t so had to wait for 45 minutes. The service and food was excellent. My friend tried Tour Italy while I decided to go with Chicken Alfredo. Lasagna was OK but the rest was top notch! For dessert we had Tiramisu and it was tasty. Payment was done at the table. The only reason for four stars is that not a great selection of tea next to desert :
This place is really a hit or miss. Some days you come in here and it’s great. Other times it’s a disaster. I tried to come in here a few weeks ago and the entire bar was filled with dirty dishes, along with the surrounding tables. This last time was a good experience however. Service was good and food came out hot. The only complaint was my lasagna plate was very small, but tasted good. I just remember portions being way better
So if you are in this area Pennsylvania it’s worth dropping in and having a high carb meal right before a sporting event. No this place is great and it is your typical Olive Garden but it only gets four stars and I’m gonna tell you why. The windows inside and outside are really and clean and disgusting. Where we said you could see the bird poo on the outside of the windows on the inside right at our table you can see all the greasy little kitty handprints all over full sets of windows or we were setting. Now the food was delicious as always but there is an exception here. You will notice my daughter was brought ziti with a red cream sauce and she ordered cheese ravioli with an Alfredo sauce. Mistakes happen and she decided to go with what was brought to her rather than send it back but because of waiters with super 2 inch long fingernails name Jack that don’t write you’re down and commit it to memory incorrectly. On a sidenote I stepped away to wash my hands my daughter asked for more water and our server brought it back with lemon she told him I ordered without lemon he insisted know your lemon. Any sadly amusing part of this as I have a citrus allergy and Brooke never ordered lemon unless I wanted to free hospital trip.
We’ve come to eat late after work a few times over the past few months. Arrived around 9:45p and they close at 11pm on Friday’s. Each time we’ve experienced poor customer service and the food has been cold, lukewarm, or not fully cooked. Last night we waited over 10 minutes just to be greeted by a waiter and get a drink order taken and the restaurant wasn’t that busy.. during that time staff was fooling around and laughing in the kitchen behind us, I guess they did not notice we were waiting.. Food was lukewarm and it took longer than necessary to wait for just salad and breadsticks (that’s all we ordered). We look forward to having a hot bowl of soup on a cold night after a long day and it was not even hot. The spinach was still fresh and not cooked into the soup, just kind of thrown in. I don’t even remember finding chicken in the chicken and gnocchi soup. The waiter explained that they had to make the soup themselves that late at night but there’s still an hour until close. Seems the staff tried to close up shop early (when the restaurant still had many people in it) and they don’t deliver the same customer service experience during the last hour they are open as they do during the entire day. Waiter seemed to try to rush us by clearing the table while one of our family members was still finishing her meal.. A previous visit we had a moody waitress who did not even smile and seemed unamused to be there and it made us feel like a bother. Please just close your restaurant at 10 or earlier if you’re going to to do this to customers who come in during the later hours.
