"Spent the night in Statesboro on our way passing through to visit family and decided to have dinner at El Jalapeno. We were pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. From the fresh crunchy chips and flavorful salsa to the Texas Fajitas for two! Delicious and had so much steak, chicken and shrimp in it we were very impressed with the amount of meat in this tasty plentiful dish! The shrimp are my favorite and they were cooked perfectly! We'll definitely stop and dine here again next time we pass through!! Our server was pretty awesome too!! Thanks for the very enjoyable meal! Five stars!!"

"Excellent BBQ! We shared an Uncle Shugs BBQ sampler and fried pickles. Absolutely the best BBQ I have ever had! And, don't miss the hand cut seasoned fries. What a treat!Plenty of parking. I noticed they were doing a lot of carryout business. This is not your typical BBQ restaurant. This restaurant looks great and has a lot of character. We chose to eat inside of the restaurant. Great friendly service. The restaurant is very clean. We ate inside but noticed they have a nice big patio for outdoor seating.My recommendation is GO! You will enjoy it!"
