from us had the Sunday carvery, which was very well cooked, good variety of sweet and very tasty meat. the desserts were tasty, would have a little more variety for people who are gluten-free and milk-free, but the waiter was very fast to offer fresh fruit salad and sorbet, which was delicious. the personal was extraordinary and will eat there again definitiw. Pleasantly surprised, what a shame that they only do a Sunday carvery once a month. Would have been nice to see a side plate set at the table.

"We booked a table after seeing the high tripadvisor ratings for this restaurant. When we arrived (7pm on a weekend evening) we were the only people in there! We enjoyed our meals, although they only made 3 of the 4 meals we had ordered and we had to ask about the final one. They didn't admit they had forgotten it and it turnoed up another 10 minutes later with no apology for the delay. 3 of the 4 meals were excellent. The 4th was very disappointing. Didn't feel that staff were particularly attentive given that we were the only ones there. Food was tasty, so would probably choose to eat from there again, but would go for the takeaway option instead."
