"Restaurant Weidstuebli is about a 45 minute uphill hike from Leukerbad, but you are rewarded with amazing views. In wintertime, I guess you can ski right up to it. There's a large terrace area and an indoor area. The food was more or less normal Walliser specialities and Swiss food, but it was well prepared. I had the Walliser sausage (like a salami), and my wife really enjoyed (for once) her salad with, I think it was Goat's cheese? It was relatively full for lunch even in the middle of the week, so on weekends I'd definitely book. Service was also efficient and friendly, and the prices weren't crazy for a mountain Stübli."

"Fantastic place, where, at the moment, you could eat “La Chasse” I highly recommend the “Chaser Dish” which was absolutely amazing! The menu is always adapted with the season and all kind of food, even veggie or fish are well chosen products from the right area around or abroad. The service is always nice, smily welcoming. "From the UK we found the prices expensive but soon realised that is standard everywhere and the entire family agreed that the burgers are some of the best we have tasted.......simply delicious. I must admit to having a 'double ' and in hindsight a single will...have been sufficient. If you want a table outside make sure that you book in advance as we could see a lot of 'walk ups ' had to eat inside."
