"It was my first time there and it was the best breakfast ever in Ottawa. Kale-Pache was amazingly cooked with a nice smell and a good portion. The service was great and the hosts were friendly and responsive. On the whole, I do recommend it to all who love Kale Pache. I will try other foods soon as well."

"Our first time here. A marvelous place to eat with quaint smaller dining rooms. Our server, Travis, was very accommodating and friendly and prompt. The food two pasta plates was served hot and very tasty. The calamari appetizer was the best we have had in a very long time. Crispy and hot. We are sorry we haven't been here before but we will not make that mistake again Cabotto's in now high on our list for go to restaurants.Parking: Np problem finding parking."

"Cute little place. Coffee is very good. I had a flat white and a cinnamon bun and both were delicious. I would definitely come back. One thing I didn't like was the seats as they were somewhat uncomfortable to sit in."

"The cafe is so cute, the staff are wonderful and the food is incredible! I had the Mel's Fav panini with fries and a side of fried avocados to share for lunch today. The lunch was great and the portions are generous, but make sure you save some room for dessert too because the treats here are amazing! I got a chocolate cake truffle (so decadent and chocolatey and a lemon lavender cookie (my favourite! for myself and brought a nanaimo bar home to my husband. I stole a bite of the nanaimo bar before he ate it and immediately regretted giving it to him, it was too good to share. Definitely worth visiting, even if it's a bit (or a lot out of the way for you!"

"The only challenge I experienced while at Heirloom was feeling sad that I had only discovered this extremely fine restaurant 5 years too late! I agree with others: no question one of the top restaurants in Ottawa and the region. I was very satisfied with the paté to start, matched wonderfully with chutney and pickled green beans. I also loved the tender, flavourful, delicious braised beef (anyone who knows me knows I do not use hyperbole lightly; each bite was that satisfying). The cheescake was heavenly smooth and a wonderful way to finish a fabulous meal. Service was attentive and warm, and very accomodating to my daughter's tastes (which we both sincerely appreciated). I cannot wait to explore other dishes on the menu."

"A Saturday dinner ... the place was hopping ... full to capacity and customers waiting at the door. Reservations helped! Drinks arrived quickly and our order taken. The Specials looked appetizing but I had already had my Prime Rib for the week. I ordered the...Jambalaya. It arrived and it was not disappointing ... spicy and chock full of shrimp, sausage and chicken spiced just right for me. With the daily soup special as an appetizer, there was no room for dessert. Service was very, very good and friendly. I will go back."
