"Love this store!! I stop on my way to and from work. Get gas, diesel, propane for the BBQ and coffee for waking up all in one stop! There are seedlings in the spring, ice cream in the summer, fresh apples in the fall, and Christmas trees in the winter. All from local suppliers! This store is so closely connected with the community they know your name, your vehicle and your favorite pizza (yes, there's a Square Boy there too)!! Of course there's your standard convenience store fare, but it includes cheese from Wilton Cheese and meat from Quinn's Meats - both local. If you want points, this is a certified Esso so you can collect points on everything. Truly a hub in the community!"

"My father and went for a ride to see the colors of the autumn and here to lunch. such an interesting business! the restaurant has a zinndecke and is very eclectic. eating was also very good. we had a smoked meat. sandwich and a west. I don't live here, so I probably won't come back from this ground, but my father is already talking about bringing my mother there."

"I often frequent this little bakery on road trips that take me north on Hwy 41 as it is a short 10 minute detour off the highway. It is a great little spot to stop for lunch to break up the drive to the Ottawa Valley or to Land O Lakes cottage country. Stop in for breakfast or lunch for a sandwich and pick up some bread, baked goods, specialty mustards or sweet treats for the weekend at the cottage. The bakery itself is quite small, with limited indoor seating but there is a lovely outdoor patio. The staff is friendly and they are always eager to please. They offer a Friday pork ribs by the pound special; the recipe changes weekly. The sausage rolls are the best I have ever had, in fact I have from time to time special ordered large quantities to use for parties at home."

"If you want to visit a local haunt this is the place. With a rich history (photos covering the walls) and friendly staff and owners this is nice place to check out for lunch, dinner or a beer. Parts of the restaurant were a stable (many years ago)! Our party of 6 attended a Saturday night session with local entertainment - it was very good!The owners try to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Good Job!"

"Stopped in on a blustery winter day. Warm atmosphere with a few modern gifts and soaps. The food was tasty, good ingredients without anything standing out. Service was kind and efficient. I would love to see that the plates go to compost instead of the garbage. We’ll be stopping by again on our next way through."

"The minute you walk in and are greeted with big smiles and cheery hellos you know you are in the right spot. Delicious soups and sandwiches......Donna's scones, squares and pies (not to mention all her other treats) are to die for....and the pizza!!! amazing. Thank...you to this wonderful family for making Rogues' Hollow (Newburgh) and great place both to visit and to live."
