"Coffee and scones on the Main Street of Meadows. Open till 4 on a Sunday winner! Friendly staff. Spotlessly clean in and out. Plenty of seating, indoors and alfresco away from the road. The fruit scones were delicious served with generous amounts of sweet jam and real fresh cream. Coffee was good. Will surely return!"

"Today was the perfect day for lunch at the oak and Iron, could not have asked for a perfect meal, there was of us, we all had something different and each meal was well presented, extremely tasty and plenty to eat, what made it...exceptional was the wait staff, we had Dean and Tom and the made our meal extremely entertaining and comfortable and we would go back on that alone, they are both an exemplary asset to this establishment- Dean especially, as this was not our first visit, always remembers us and is kind and warm, this is what service should be and is severely lacking in most other places, so thanks guys for making a lunch an enjoyable afternoon"
