Decided to try something new. Never been here before. EXCELLENT Fried fish was lightly coated. Large piece. Halushki was made with some sort of little dumplings. Really good. Cound use more cabbage, IMO. Coleslaw, too much mayo. But, very enjoyable. Everyone has different tastes. Bourbon peach cheesecake . . . Too full to try. Will be going back View all feedback.
If I could give a thousand stars, I would. We had a great dinner tonight from Rips. We ordered the Hunky Platter and it was great. It consisted of pirohi, halushky (cabbage and noodles) and holubtsi (stuffed cabbage). Everything was divine. The Pirohi were filled with potatoes in the Hilt. The Haluschky had delicious homemade dumplings with the cabbage and the Holubtsi (suffed cabbage) was huge and so delicious! What was so good was that they gave you a small container of sour wort and Holubtsi juice to pour over your food! We'll do this when we do all this at home! Thank you. Rips we will come back again and again!!!
Awesome authentic homemade food Rips Cafe has been in struthers ohio for a very very long time. might be the oldest restaurant in town. ask for the hunkey platter it is awesome.
Great fast friendly service great fellow customers food is phenomenal as well especially the polish homemade food I ordered the hunky platter one of their Thursday specials

Fantastic food, drinks, and atmosphere! It's my mother's favorite spot! I'm thrilled to see so many Polish dishes on the menu. I tried the pork taco last night, and it was DELICIOUS!
