Acapulco from Sudbury Menu

"First some of the timing is on us because we didn’t realize the kitchen closed at which seemed unusually early for a restaurant on a Thursday night. Our server Emily was very friendly and nice. We had a reservation for didn’t get seated until and our she wasn’t able to come over until like to take our drink order. We placed an order for drinks and appetizers. Our food came at Normally we wait to order entrees until after we’ve eaten apps because it gives us a good gauge on the quality of the food but she informed us the kitchen was closing in minutes so we quickly decided on the Duck and Ahi tuna. Our appetizers were okay bang bang shrimp and cauliflower exactly what you would expect. Frozen shrimp that was breaded and blanched cauliflower with some Buffalo sauce on it. One thing I noticed was some of the shrimp wasn’t deveined having been a chef in many restaurants myself this wouldn’t have passed my expo station. The duck was very VERY dry and the ahi tuna had giant areas of just connective tissue. The rice with the duck was crunch and the rice with the tuna was way over cooked and chewy and starchy but because it was already after the kitchen closed we decided not say anything I got my duck packed because I figured I could use it to make a sandwich the next day but my partner’s tuna just wasn’t really salvageable. Good ambiance for a snack and a drink but probably wouldn’t return because the food wasn’t high enough quality to justify paying plus dollars a dish"
