Just found out that the Rising Sun in Aldeburgh has closed down. What a terrible shame. The best chinese takeaway around. My husband isn't keen on chinese but has always enjoyed their food. It's ashame that they didn't have the space to convert to a restaurant as they would have made a killing. It's been reported that it's for financial and personal reasons. After spending £50 I can honestly say it was the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Phoned to make my order but don’t deliver no problem at least the dog got a walk. Got home really looking forward to our crispy duck which cost £21. It was definitely not half a duck they gave gave us 12 pancakes for which we could only fill 5 of them.
