During our weekend trip to Turner Falls and Arbuckle Wilderness, my family discovered this hidden gem located next to our hotel. We highly recommend it with a rating of 10 out of 10! We enjoyed it so much that we even discussed it on our way to Texas. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about San Pedro Bar Grill Mexican Restaurant:
The tea was alright, the fried beans were mediocre. The tamales appeared to be unevenly cooked and hard. The sauce on top of them was bland and watery. The masa had no flavor and seemed to have a burnt bean taste inside. Overall, not a pleasant experience. On Mother's Day, there were only three cars parked in front of the restaurant. Queso tasted like it came in a can and it took 20 min form them to bring it. The food was pretty good but for 2 entrees, the queso, 1 iced tea, and 1 water, $3 tip . $50!
Great food and great service as always. Prices are great also
Waitress was less than friendly and chips needed to be cooked in fresh oil
My son and I were traveling this past weekend. We have eaten at San Pedro's in the past. We had a great lunch; I had tamales, my son ordered chicken enchiladas. The wait staff was very attentive and our meal was great. HOWEVER! I took my son to his home in Pauls Valley and when we arrived I reached for my wallet to pad my son's pocket; no wallet. I calmly called the restaurant and VOILA! I left my wallet at their establishment. Most people are honest including this family at San Pedro's. I traveled back to Sulphur to retrieve my article. I thanked them graciously and left.Bottom line: The food and service are great, I was more impressed by the integrity this staff showed finding what I had left. Kudos San Pedro Grill! I'm thankful for people like you. Sincerely, Jay Gamble
